2007 Domaine La Fourmente Nature Cotes du Rhone Villages

This wine is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah and has been sourced from vines 25 to 55 years old.

Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Aromas of raspberry, dark plum and liquorice, followed by a hint of spice. Medium weight with flavours of dark plum, liquorice, spice and a hint of leather. Strong black and white pepper characters emerge on the back palate and persist through to the aftertaste. Fine grained slightly dry tannins in perfect balance. Long aftertaste of black and white pepper, liquorice and plum.
