Made from a blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Merlot, the wine was matured for 20 months in French oak. Crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose displays top notes of tea leaf and tobacco with some underlying cedar and truffle. The palate is on the lean side with flavours of truffle, earth, cedar and tobacco with some hints of blackcurrant. Dryish tannins with moderate aftertaste of truffle, earth and mulberry. A very elegant Cabernet blend that relies on secondary flavours rather than primary.
