Deep dark red colour with deep dark brick red mauve hue. The nose is a touch restrained with aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, spice and a hint of earth. Palate flavours of black cherry, spice and liquorice are followed by a touch of leather on the finish. Good structure with dry, slightly chalky tannins and aftertaste of liquorice, spice and blackpepper.
