2007 Baddaginnie Run Viognier

Bright deep straw colour with straw hue. The nose is quite broad, indicative of a fully ripened exotic style of Viognier. Top note of dried apricot, followed by tropical fruit on the turn, showing all the signs of a classic Viognier style. The palate is quite broad with flavours of apricot and lemon evident over a layer of tropical fruit. There is some coarseness, but that comes with the style. The acidity will hold up for the next couple of years.
