Made from the Montepulciano d’Abruzio grape variety. Very deep crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Top note of cherry and spice, followed by lightly perfumed plum and a hint of liquorice. The palate is quite dry and slightly chalky. Strong black pepper back palate. Dry tannins persist with black pepper lingering.
