Opaque deep dark red colour with dark red mauve hue. Aromas of mulberry, tobacco and cedar are followed by a touch of spice. Medium weight with flavours of ripe blackcurrant and mulberry followed by some cedar and spice. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of mulberry, blackcurrant and spice. This wine is drinking well now but is capable of a further 2-3 years cellaring (2012-2013).
