This wine is composed of a blend of 50% Syrah, 40% Mourvedre and 10% Grenache.
Medium body – youthful, mauve purple colour with mauve purple hue. Vibrant, perfumed nose of blackberry and raspberry over a layer of fresh liquorice. The palate sees the collapse of this wine with an excessive dose of tannin. The tannin structure is very fine, very dry and far too assertive to carry the fruit. Spice and raspberry flavours remain in the background with dry tannins overwhelming the aftertaste.
