Great colour; incredible depth of fruit, blackberry, mocha, plum and spicy oak; the palate is massively proportioned, but belies the 16* alcohol, with a fresh, vibrant and focused finish. Not for the faint of heart.

The 2006 Old Vine Shiraz was sourced from 44-year-old estate vineyards and aged for 18 months in French oak. It offers up a captivating, complex bouquet of game, bacon, sausage, and blueberry pie. This leads to a full-bodied, opulent Shiraz with layers of spicy blue fruits, pepper, licorice, and enough ripe tannin to evolve for several years. Drink this plush effort from 2012 to 2024.
