Tasting note: Finished in a Laphroaig cask. Pale gold. Like no other grain we’ve tasted before… A dry, minerally, earthy smokiness infuses the bitter cocoa and vanillas. Later, lucerne bails, a touch of old kelp... Sooty and fruity on entry, the smokey dark chocolate notes surfacing through the middle stages. More ashy, textural and finely tannic to finish. Lots of dark chocolate, lanolin, light vanilla and earthy peat through the aftertaste. No need for water. Enjoy as is. 56.6% Alc./Vol.
