Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose reveals perfumed scents of dark plum, spice and liquorice with a toasty smoky clove like overlay. Full bodied the palate is both generous and mouthfilling with flavours of dark plum, spice, clove and aniseed followed by a touch of pepper on the back palate. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, smoky clove and spice.
