Bright brick red colour with brick red hue – semi translucent. The nose delivers very good varietal character. Top notes of cherry and strawberry followed by a hint of game and truffle. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel. Flavours of spice and dark cherry are followed by truffle and strawberry, delivering a very good power wave. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Long spicy cherry aftertaste.
