Aged in a combination of American and French oak hogsheads for 20 months. Totally opaque impenetrable inky black colour with black dark red hue. Perfumed aromatics with top notes of liquorice, dark chocolate and dark plum followed by some vanillin oak and mocha. Thick, almost liqueur like texture with voluptuous mouthfilling flavours of dark chocolate, liquorice, vanilla, mocha and spice possessing a vintage port like concentration. Silky smooth tannins. Excellent depth with long opulent liquorice, dark chocolate and vanillin spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2013-2014).
