2005 Tahbilk Eric Stevens Purbrick Shiraz

Opaque dark red colour with deep brick red hue. Superb perfumed nose with aromas of violets, blackberry, dark chocolate, cedar and new leather emanating from the glass followed by a hint of vanillin spice as an end note. Velvety textured the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of black cherry, stewed plums, dark chocolate, liquorice, cedar and leather. Excellent persistence and depth. Super fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of stewed plum, dark chocolate, liquorice, leather and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2011-2016).
