60% of the fruit for this wine was fermented
in stainless steel whilst the balance of 40% was fermented in new oak. Post fermentation,
the wine was matured in new oak for nine months. An excellent example
of barrel matured Chardonnay. Bright straw colour with green tinge and pale
straw hue. Top note of yeast lees, followed by biscuit, cashew and a hint of butterscotch.
Creamy palate texture, with flavours of biscuit, cashew and hazelnut over a lightly toasted background.
Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of biscuit and hazelnut.
