Almost opaque black crimson colour with black mauve hue. Excellent lifted, varietal nose with top note of spice, plum, vanilla and liquorice, followed by blackberry and violet infusions. Full bodied palate, impressive in weight with flavours of liquorice, plum and spice followed by vanilla and blackberry. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Long spice aftertaste of blackberry and black pepper.
