By blending three distinctively different grape varieties together, winemaker Ben Riggs creates a new harmony and adds complexity of flavours not evident in the individual grapes. Shiraz contributes ripe plum and spice flavours, Cabernet contributes a tannin firmness whereas Merlot delivers a fleshy quality to the palate.
Totally
opaque black crimson colour. Top note of spice, followed by black pepper, plum, liquorice and
toasted oak. The palate profile is generous, with fine dryish tannins, balancing the joosy flavours
of plum, liquorice, cedar and dark chocolate.
