2005 Off The Leash Finn No Oak White Chardonnay Viognier Pinot Gris Semillon

This wine is made of a blend of Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Gris and Semillon. The marketing hype is weird. The back label describes a young party animal (a girl) who is said to sleep in a running position etc. etc. One could have forgiven the crass sales approach had the wine been a stunner, but that is not the case. If you’re into being lashed up, our suggestion is to stay on the leash – not off it!
Bright pale straw colour with a hint of green – water like hue. Delicate tropical fruit top note, followed by light gooseberry and light spice. Light tropical fruit aftertaste. A Quaffer.
