The blend is made up of 50% Shiraz, 27% Mourvedre and 23% Grenache. Fermented in static & open fermenters and matured for 18 months in 5–6 year old 300 litre hogsheads.
Medium body, crimson colour with crimson hue. Complex, perfumed nose of raspberry, spice, dark cherry, liquorice allsorts and vanilla. The flavours are continuous and build on the palate in a wave. Layers of cherry, raspberry, plum and spice over liquorice allsorts. Soft tannins, perfect balance.
