Very deep mauve purple colour – quite youthful in appearance. Aroma of cherry, raspberry and spice showing good aromatic lift, with a hint of liquorice as an endnote. The palate has good weight, with flavours of cherry and raspberry emerging. Soft tannins – but slightly on the dry side. Spice, cherry aftertaste.
