2004 Kreglinger Brut de Blancs Sparkling
Aged for 3 years on yeast lees in the bottle before disgorgement. Good creamy white mousse with a pale straw/gold base wine colour. The bead is very fine and shows excellent persistence. Possessing good intensity and richness the nose tosses up aromas of baked bread and dried honey which overlay some oily toast like characters, yeast lees and roasted almonds. Rich with an oily creamy like textural feel and fresh finish the palate is filled with citrus, baked bread and toasty dried honey flavours which prevail over some roasted almonds and yeast lees. Crisp dry finish with an aftertaste of citrus, baked bread, toasty dried honey, almonds and yeast lees.
