2004 Harewood Estate Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with water like hue. The nose delivers a typical cool climate aroma profile, restrained, yet recognisable, very expressive of the variety. Top note of melon, followed by citrus and fig. The acidity is quite pronounced with crisp acid backbone, but it is carried through by the fig, melon and just a touch of unripe cantaloupe.
