A superb lightly fortified wine that has some parallels with Pineau des Charentes. Bright pale straw colour with green hue. Pronounced nose of ripe gooseberry, nectarine, tropical fruit and green tea. The palate has a delightful creamy texture which is contributed to by the addition of some alcohol. Exotic fruit flavours of ripe pear, ripe gooseberry, paw paw, mango and nectarine are evident. Clean finish. A delightful white with summer berries.
