Viticulturalist Mark Schulz has teamed up with winemaker Sam Plunkett to produce this wine, from fruit grown by Mark and Glenys Hardley and Longwood.
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose of vanilla, plum and violet, showing good varietal character with a spicy end note. The palate is on the light side with flavours of plum, spice and liquorice allsorts, but lacks concentration. Fine soft tannins.
A well made commercial style.
