2004 Eden Hall Shiraz Viognier

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose with top note of vanilla, followed by violets, confectionary and liquorice. The 5% Viognier component fills the palate contributing a complexing layer of dried apricot over black pepper and liquorice allsorts. There is a real joosy textural quality about this wine. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance. Very long, aftertaste of white pepper and liquorice.
