This wine is totally unrecognisable as a Heathcote Shiraz. Youthful purple colour with purple mauve hue. Delicate nose, with aroma of spice and plum, followed by a touch of vanilla. The palate is light and lacks flavour and depth. At best this wine is a light red that does the Heathcote region a grave injustice.
