Seventeen years in a single ex-sherry butt #3714 has resulted in a deeply coloured Bunnah' with an outturn of 240 bottles. This special cask was selected in collaboration with Elysian Whisky Bar and Ralph Louis Frederick (a yet-to-be-opened whisky bar above Hains & Co in Adelaide). Exclusive to Australia. 58.3% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the importers... Nose: Stewed fruits, raisins and oranges with a gentle blend of tabacco and smoke bacon peat. Palate: Good sweet malty intensity, balanced with drying peat. Lively with the high ABV. The fireside peat (more like Highland than Islay) interplays with the sherry richness really well. Raisins and orange peel. Finish: Peat and fruit fighting for dominance. The fruit seems to win for me, in this very long battle!
