2004 Brothers in Arms No.6 Shiraz Cabernet

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of plum, followed by spice and vanilla followed by stewed fruit and a hint of earth. On the palate flavours of earth and truffle over a layer of plum and leather. Fine, dryish tannins, but in balance. Aftertaste of leather and spice.

First Tasted 20th June, 2007;
Very deep crimson colour with deep mauve crimson hue. Medium body. Lifted nose of plum and blackberry, followed by a touch of vanilla and fresh liquorice. On the palate flavours of plum, spice, blackberry and vanilla followed by fine but slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice and plum.
