A tightly knit Shiraz from Wirra Wirra. Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. Aroma of violets, spice, plum and blackberry, providing a lifted sniff. The palate is firmer than one comes to expect from McLaren Vale. Flavours of chocolate, spice and vanilla emerge, followed by a long white pepper back palate. Fine grained dry, tight, tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate and plum.
