This wine displays much better balance than the straightforward Shiraz. The colour is outstanding – opaque black purple colour with deep crimson purple hue. The nose is impressive, perfumed with violets, spice and blackberry. Generous palate flavours of plum and blackberry with hints of black pepper and vanilla. Fine, but very dry tannins, showing good, but not perfect balance. Long aftertaste of blackberry, vanilla, cherry and chocolate.
