2003 Mr Riggs Viognier

An outstanding example of Viognier. Bright pale straw colour. Aroma of exotic tropical fruit, ripe spicy pears, followed by a hint of apricot and mango. The palate has excellent weight and mouth-feel, creamy texture with flavours of exotic tropical fruit, pear, mangoes and lime evident. Soft acid finish. A distinctive wine which has been matured in old oak, adding a layer of complexity.
