2003 Marguet Pere et Fils Grand Cru Rose Champagne

Outstanding very persistent white creamy mousse that lasts for nearly a minute with deep salmon pink base colour. Exceptionally fine and persistent bead. A magnificent start to this wine. The nose displays aromas of strawberry, raspberry and rose petals followed by some yeast lees and toast end notes. The palate is reflective of the warmer vintage with flavours of ripe raspberry and winter strawberry followed by some lees and biscuit back palate flavours. Creamy texture with aftertaste of winter strawberry, raspberry and lees.
