Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body. The nose is impressive, lifted top notes of violets, liquorice and spice followed by end notes of blackberry, vanilla and black pepper. The palate has excellent weight with flavours of white pepper, plum and blackberry evident over a liquorice allsorts back palate. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, spice, black pepper and vanilla.
