This wine has been made from 90 years old, low yielding spur pruned vines. Very deep crimson mauve colour with purple hue. Lifted nose with smoky oak, raspberry and liquorice allsorts top note. On the palate, flavours of raspberry, liquorice and plum. Fine dry tannins, slightly chalky. Raspberry liquorice and spice aftertaste.
