Totally opaque black purple colour. Perfumed nose, with aroma of violets and vanilla followed by earthy confectionary and blackberry end notes. The palate is full bodied, but needs time to mellow and integrate. This is a big wine. Flavours of mint are overlaid by liquorice, spice, mocha and dark chocolate. On the palate, flavours of spice and black pepper emerge. Fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of mint, confectionary and black pepper.
