The bottle tasted was a pre release sample. Very deep crimson colour with deep mauve crimson hue. Aroma of spice, vanilla, liquorice, blackberry and violets, followed by a truffle endnote. The palate reveals flavours of truffle, violets and liquorice over a white pepper back palate. Fine grained tannins, with very long aftertaste of white and black pepper with a hint of liquorice.
