Very deep brick red colour with deep brick red hue. Aroma of stewed fruit, cassis, tea leaf and cedar. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of truffle, cedar and cigar box, followed by a spicy back palate. Excellent length, with a subdued touch of tea leaf in the background. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of cedar and truffle.
