Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. The nose is impressive, with violet top notes, followed by spice, blackberry and liquorice. The palate structure is tight, with fine dryish tannins emerging. Flavours of plum, blackberry, spice and liquorice emerge. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, vanilla and chocolate.
