2002 Litterini Shiraz Cabernet

This wine has spent 20-24 months maturing in a combination of American and French oak. Very deep, almost opaque brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of leather, truffle and earth with stewed fruit end notes. The wine is now beginning to show its age. On the palate there is a hint of mint over a layer of leather, earth and stewed fruit with a touch of prune on the back palate. The flavour profile is now fully developed. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of old leather and earth.
