Bright straw colour, delicate greenish hue. Aroma of hazelnut, cashews and biscuit followed by a butterscotch end note. The palate has a creamy texture with excellent length and Burgundian flavour profile. Layers of yeast lees, toasted oak and almonds. Quite dry with none of the typical tropical fruit flavours that can be found in many Australian Chardonnays. Clean acid finish. Very long aftertaste ofhazelnut and almonds.
