2002 Ashton Hills Sparkling Shiraz

Mauve dark red mousse showing good hold with a very fine bead showing good persistence. Dark red mauve base wine colour. The nose displays lifted aromas of ripe blackberry and plum followed by some liquorice and leather. Excellent concentration with flavours of liquorice, blackberry, leather and spice. Very good length and persistence with long aftertaste of liquorice allsorts, leather and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
