This wine is produced from vines aged between 30-50 years and matured for 16 months in oak. 5% Viognier has been added to the wine. Very deep crimson colour with mauve hue. Aroma of vanilla, spice and plum followed by violet and chocolate notes. The palate displays flavours of plum, spice and liquorice with white pepper in the background. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum and spice.
