A very quaffable and affordable wine from Rob Bowen. Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. The nose is impressive, showing excellent lifted notes of dark chocolate, cedar, plum and violets followed by a spice liquorice end note. On the palate the blackcurrant and spice flavours are dominant, followed by liquorice, truffle, earth and dark chocolate. Fine dry tannin structure, followed by an aftertaste of dark chocolate, earth and truffle.
