The 2001 is a great follow on from the 2000 Amelia. Very deep black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of violets, blackcurrant, mulberry, spice, truffle and white pepper, delivering a perfumed lift. The palate structure is silky, with velvet smooth tannins, supporting layers of cedar, cigar box and truffle. A beautiful Cabernet, with perfect tannin balance and very long aftertaste of truffle, blackcurrant and cedar.
