The Shiraz has been sourced from Casa’s vineyard and Rosa Brook and matured in new American oak. Opaque black crimson colour with deep mauve purple hue. Top notes of spice, plum, earth and blackberry followed by a blackpepper end note. The palate starts off well, with flavours of plum, spice, vanilla and liquorice evident, but lacks power, however it manages to recover on the back palate. Fine grained tannins, followed by an aftertaste of dark chocolate and liquorice.
