The colour appears quite advanced for a 2001 Semillon showing deep lemon yellow hue. On the nose, notes of green tea, hay, a touch of lees and spice. On the palate, subtle honey and toast flavours emerge with the honey flavour component dominating overthe citrus background. The palate is relatively short. Very crisp acidity, followed by an aftertaste of green tea and honey.
