A sophisticated Chardonnay with a very strong likeness to the wines of Mersault. Bright straw colour. The nose is superb, with layers of notes singing in a beautiful harmony. Nectarine, cling peach, spice and ripe melon notes emerge over a honeycomb end note. The palate is mouthfilling and shows excellent concentration of flavour. Toasted oak, yeast lees and cashew flavours over a subtle grapefruit background. Perfect balance followed by a very long aftertaste of grapefruit, yeast lees and biscuit.
