2001 Lamonts The Family Reserve Dry Red

This is a multi regional blend made from a number of different red grape varieties. Opaque black crimson colour. Superb nose with lifted notes of liquorice, plum, mocca and dark chocolate. The palate has excellent weight with flavours of spicy blackberry, plum and vanilla with stewed fruit on the back palate. Fine grained dryish tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum and spice.
