The Golders Pinot has spent 18 months maturing in French oak and has had no filtration and only minimum amount of preservatives added. Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. There is a hint of meat/game on the nose followed by spice, toasted oak and strawberry. The palate has very good weight and displays a moderate power wave. Flavours of spicy oak, toast and strawberry. Clean acid finish, with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy oak, strawberry jam, cherry and just a touch of aniseed appearing.
