Grown on Buttery’s Home Block situated on the base of the foothills of McLaren Vale. The wine was matured in 30% new oak. Brilliant pale straw colour. The nose is subtle, with notes of tropical fruit, melon and fig, followed by subdued barrel ferment characteristics. Mouthfilling palate, creamy texture with melon and fig flavours dominant. Soft acid finish followed by melon fig aftertaste. Cellar 1 –2 years.
