A big Chardonnay with generous oak flavours. The wine has spent 10 months in new and one year old French oak. Bright pale straw colour. Intense nose, cashew and hazelnut over a pronounced yeast lees end note. The palate displays hazelnut flavours over a melon and stewed fruit background. Excellent length with just a hint of coarseness, but acceptable, followed by a long melon, spice, hazelnut aftertaste.
